Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based therapy that uses play, encouragement and positive reinforcement to help children build communication, social and everyday skills.
We work with children from 18 months to 6 years old.
Many plans do. We are in-network with Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and Cigna and work with most major insurance plans in Texas, and we verify your specific benefits for you.
Most insurance plans require a diagnosis for ABA coverage. If your child does not have one yet, call us and we will help you understand your next steps.
Your first visit is a relaxed get-to-know-you meeting. You’ll meet your child’s Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and talk about your child’s strengths, your daily routines and your goals, while your child plays and explores. The full assessment usually takes one to three visits of about an hour to an hour and a half. Please bring your child’s insurance card, the autism diagnosis report, and any recent evaluations, therapy reports or school plans. Afterward, your BCBA walks you through the results and a personalized plan.
Every child’s plan is different. After the assessment, your BCBA recommends a schedule based on your child’s needs and your family’s routine. For young children, plans often range from about 10–25 hours a week for focused goals to 25–40 hours a week for more comprehensive support, split into shorter sessions that suit your child’s energy. Your insurance approval also plays a part.
Very! Parents are always welcome to watch sessions, and parent coaching is part of every child’s program, so you’ll learn strategies to support progress at home.
